Dan founded Pantera Capital Management in 2003, managing over $1 billion of institutional investor assets in its global macro strategy. He previously served as Head of Macro Trading and CFO at Tiger Management with Julian Robertson. Dan began his career at Goldman Sachs as their first Asset-Backed Securities trader. Cosmo oversees our liquid token strategies as General Partner alongside Dan Morehead. He joined us from Nova River, where he ran a long-biased digital asset fund, underpinned by a fundamental, thesis-driven approach with a multi-year time horizon. He brings over five years of digital asset investing experience and ten years in traditional finance. Prior to launching Nova River, Cosmo was Managing Director at Hitchwood Capital where he was responsible for Consumer and Internet investments. He previously worked at Apollo Global Management in their private equity group and in M&A at Evercore Partners. Cosmo graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. in Applied Mathematics.

Franklin is a General Partner at Pantera Capital, focused on early-stage venture & token investing and portfolio development. Since joining Pantera in 2019, Franklin has led investments across DeFi, infrastructure, and Web3 gaming. He serves on the boards of Bitso, Azra Games, Pintu, MakersPlace, InfiniGods, Mezo, and Helika. Franklin has 10 years of experience building and investing in blockchain and crypto, from seed stage to Fortune 50. Previously, Franklin was a founding member of J.P. Morgan’s blockchain group Onyx in 2015, leading many of the bank’s earliest blockchain initiatives across digital assets, market infrastructure, tokenization, and joint ventures. Franklin also co-founded Scale8 Partners, an advisory firm serving early-stage DeFi protocols, exchanges, and infrastructure projects. Scott is President of Pantera, bringing over 30 years of global financial market, alternative asset, and blockchain experience to the firm. Before joining Pantera, he founded and served as CEO of Candy Digital, a global web3 fan engagement platform. Prior to Candy, Scott served as Chief Operating Officer of Moore Capital Management, Chief Operating Officer of Liquid Markets at Fortress Investment Group, and Chief of Staff of the Fixed Income Currency & Commodities Division of Goldman, Sachs & Co. Scott earned a B.S. in Architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Marc is the Chief Financial Officer of Pantera and brings more than two decades of alternatives experience to this role. Before joining Pantera, Marc had a 13-year tenure at Apollo Global Management, where he held the position of Managing Director in their Credit and Private Equity divisions focused on the launch, development and oversight of various funds and strategic platform Prior to his time at Apollo, Marc served as the controller at Strategic Value Partners, and before that, he held the controller position at Bear Stearns Merchant Banking group. Marc earned a B.S. in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University and is a licensed CPA in the state of New York.

As Chief Legal Officer at Pantera, Katrina oversees the legal, regulatory and compliance functions of the firm, in addition to human resources. Katrina brings complementary experiences across asset management and crypto roles. She was most recently with Coinbase where she was Director & Associate General Counsel responsible for the team supporting the digital asset and exchange Product teams. She was previously GC & CCO of Capstone Investment Advisors and, prior to that, General Counsel, Corporate and Governance, and Corporate Secretary at Och-Ziff Capital Management. She began her career at Venable LLP, was later Compliance Manager at American Express, and Legal and Compliance Counsel at M.D. Sass. Katrina also sits on the advisory committee of Invest In Girls. Matt originally joined Pantera in 2005 as a global macro trader and risk analyst. Prior to rejoining Pantera, he was a portfolio analyst at Aperio Group, a quantitatively-oriented investment firm. Paul Brodsky is an experienced professional investor in traditional and digital asset markets. Prior to rejoining Pantera in 2023, he oversaw PostModern Partners, an actively managed crypto fund. Before entering the digital asset space at Pantera in 2017, he founded and managed two successful traditional asset hedge funds – Spyglass Capital (MBS derivatives) in 1996 and QB Partners (macro) in 2007. Paul returned capital to Spyglass investors in 2006, prior to the financial crisis, and sold QB to a multi-billion-dollar fund manager in 2013. He began his career as a securities and derivatives trader on Wall Street, having worked at Kidder Peabody and Drexel Burnham Lambert. Paul graduated from the University of Pennsylvania.

Dennis joined Pantera in 2018 as the Director of Trading. He previously was a Partner at Cambrian Capital, an investment firm focused on global energy and natural resources sectors, where he led the firm’s trading and operations. Prior to that, Dennis was the Controller at Menta Capital, a quantitatively-oriented investment firm. He also served as a unit manager at State Street, one of the world’s largest asset administrators. Dennis graduated from the University of California, Davis with a B.A. in Economics and an M.B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.

Tom Rose joined Pantera Capital in 2025 as Senior Director of the Capital Formation team, where he focuses on business development and building relationships with U.S. investors. Most recently Tom was a Strategic Advisor at Rock Lake Advisors, a boutique private placement and capital advisory platform. Prior to Rock Lake Tom spent time in the fintech and digital asset space, most recently as Head of Capital Markets at Vesttoo, LTD, and Co-Head of Distribution at 3iQ Digital Assets. Earlier in his career, Tom worked at BlackRock and Neuberger Berman, focusing on alternatives leading initiatives to drive asset growth, primarily in the Western U.S. market. Tom holds a B.A. from Texas Christian University and an M.B.A. from the University of San Francisco. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of San Francisco.

Jeff joined Pantera in 2022 and serves as Product Manager of our hedge funds. Jeff has an extensive background in the investment management space as an entrepreneur, investor, and trader. He was a Senior Managing Director at Guggenheim Partners and held senior roles at York Capital Management and DLJ. He has broad experience across asset classes, having traded equities, fixed income and derivatives on the sell side and for world-class hedge funds. Jeff created The American Flag Football League. In this endeavor, he established a partnership with the NFL, built a community of over 200,000 social media followers, and produced over 700 games and 30 telecasts on CBS, NFL Networks and other media outlets. Jeff received his B.A. and MBA from Cornell University.

Kerry Wong is the Head of Investor Relations at Pantera Capital. Previously she was the Director of Investor Relations at Scalar Capital, a blockchain investment firm based in San Francisco. Prior to that, Kerry managed the west coast prime brokerage and capital introduction business for Barclays Bank and was part of Citibank's capital markets sales and trading team. She holds a bachelor's degree in Political Economy from UC Berkeley and previously held FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses. Kerry is on the board of the Seattle Alternative Investment Association and volunteers for Help For Children.

Adam Rose is a technical advisor and early-stage investor in crypto, working with founders on architecture, code, and token design. Prior to advising, he built and ran mining infrastructure with partners and was an early Ethereum backer. He started as a backend engineer at an Austin fintech startup, where he first got into Bitcoin in 2013 while building a payments module. He studied Computer Science at UT Austin.

Jay joined Pantera in 2025 to focus on venture investments and research. Prior to Pantera, he conducted research on decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) and trusted execution environments (TEEs) at Stanford University and the Initiative for CryptoCurrencies and Contracts (IC3). He served as President of the Stanford Blockchain Club and was an active delegate for Uniswap DAO. His work has been peer-reviewed and published at top academic venues including IEEE S&P and USENIX, and supported by grants from the Ethereum Foundation and Optimism Foundation. Jay holds a B.S. in Computer Science, a B.A. in Philosophy, and a minor in French from Stanford University.
